Lessons available in person or online.
Your local music teacher
Christopher Haresnape provides friendly and enjoyable music tuition to pupils of all ages and abilities. Chris is a professional musician who offers expert, piano, keyboard, organ and music theory lessons. Lessons are personalised and conducted on a one-to-one basis in the comfort of your own home and can be taken online. Candidates can choose to sit ABRSM practical and theory exams to gain UCAS points or just play for pleasure.
Pupils wishing to take pipe organ lessons can access a fully working pipe organ within a church.
We also have a state of the art Hauptwerk system.
An accomplished music tutor
Many music schools employ other teachers to do the work, so pupils' teachers can occasionally change. What if you suddenly find yourself taking lessons with a teacher you don’t like? This can jeopardise the quality of the tuition, not to mention the continuity and stability of the lessons. Chris keeps things consistent and guides each pupil personally.
Lessons for all
Whether you are a beginner or a practising musician, Chris can help you achieve your musical goals. Learn to play an instrument as a hobby or even train for a career in music. He will guide you towards becoming a confident musician. If you're interested, please feel free to contact Chris for more information.
Why choose the music school?
- Chris has over fifteen years of experience
- Beginner to advanced level tuition (Grade 8 and beyond)
- You can learn to play for fun or relaxation
- Pupils can take exams if they wish but this is not obligatory
- Lessons are personalised to suit pupils' needs and stylistic preferences
